The Scoot Anti Slip Shim is constructed of a specifically formulated non-slip material that is inserted into the front of the Scoot between the hoof and the boot.

  • Provide extra security when the hoof gets wet and slippery; and
  • Act as a filler providing a firmer fit when the hoof is in between sizes or the hoof has shrunk in dry conditions.
Shims can simply be removed when not needed.

Pack contains 2 shims.

A pair of replacement shims for scoot boots. The delivery was delayed but Griffin kept me informed of the dispatch date and even included a little treat.

Anti Slip Shims

These have worked perfectly and have stopped said horse from standing and twisting his hoof within the boot in wet weather. They do make the boot slightly tighter across the horses heel. They fit flat behind the front straps, not underneath the hoof.
