Leather Care

Properly cleaning and conditioning your leather tack will extend it's lifespan and ensure that it does not become dry or cracked.

Leather contains moisturising and lubricating oils that are gradually lost. Instead of flexing and stretching, the fibres become tight and stiff, and will eventually weaken and break, causing cracks. CDM's specially formulated oils and balsam will revitalise the fibres in the leather so that they can move freely again. If tack is not going to be used for some time, it should also be carefully stored to preserve its condition

• CDM Belvoir Tack Conditioner - Step 2: Softens, preserves and shines leather.
• CDM Belvoir Tack Conditioner Soap: Conditions, protects and adds shine to leather.
  
• CDM Brecknall Turner Leather Conditioning Soap: Conditions leather and has a matt finish.
• CDM Belvoir Leather Balsam: Intensive conditioner that adds a brilliant shine. Use on dry or cracked leather or after riding in the rain.
  

Extra Care - Use as required

• CDM Carrs Leather Oil: Heavy duty oil for excessively dry, cracked and brittle leather. Has added waterproofing properties.
• CDM KO-CHO-Line Leather Dressing: Specially formulated conditioner which protects leather from drying or cracking and metal from rusting when in storage.
